what the fuck is this game, i got out of class early and i was so excited and got bummy vcu pizza hut ready to grub and i come back and this shit about unc beating duke is on my screen.
this is not okay. not for a home game. not for any game.
i’m going to miss the duke v. maryland game tonight
i don’t get off until 9 and i know i’m going to be there until 9:30 because there’s another guy who works until 9 with me tonight and he will try to not close and come up with an excuse for why he can’t stay late.
then it’ll take about 15 minutes for me to even get back from work if not longer.
i am so angry right now.
cbs is showing clips of duke’s acc/ncaa win right now though. but apparently there’s a uva game right now. oh god, it’s against unc.

i’m being adult like and ordering some more checks. i’m just browsing and i see collegiate teams so i look and i’m thinking maybe they’ll have duke ones.
no. they don’t.

day twelve: favorite picture of duke vs. unc rivalry
i think it’s funny how much this rivalry matters. when the season starts those who like unc always make sure they contact me letting me know that “duke is going down.” there’s always trash talk going on at work or on facebook, youtube, whatever. my brother prefers unc to duke and i almost bought him a duke shirt for christmas but someone told me that would be mean. whatever. my mom is from north carolina so she supports duke and unc which i think is just blasphemous. i don’t really listen to anything she has to say when the season starts. you wont catch me wearing anything near the color of unc blue. i remember i used to have a unc shirt when i was younger before i knew any better and i got gum all over it, ruining it. no doubt, a metaphor my relationship with unc in the future. it’s just crazy seeing how intense the fans, including myself, get when duke and unc play against one another. one day i hope to be able to see one of those games in the future.
